Thomas Brown was Town Clerk of Concord from 1689 to 1700 and from 1704 to 1709. Jonathan Hubbard was Town Treasurer from at least 1695 to 1708. Edward Bulkley was pastor of the First Parish from 1659 to 1696. The connection between church and town in Concord lasted from 1636 (when the First Parish was organized) until 1856.
